Advent event in Mostar will be held this year from  December 3 to  January 1 at the University campus in Mostar and the walkway in  Nikola Subic Zrinski Street.

This year, Mostar will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich program in the pre-Christmas  time, it was announced at today’s press conference held by the members of the "Advent" Association.

Every day from 10:00 - 23:00 hrs   it will be active and fun in the streets and  stages of the Advent event .

Anamarija Jelonjic from the "Advent" Association said that this year the main goal  was  to offer  the holiday atmosphere to the citizens of Mostar,  adding that a series of humanitarian actions would be organized during  the event.

Within  the 29 days of Advent, many exhibitors will be presented, and this year's  novelty  will be a  disco skating  and mascots of cartoons that will be cheering  the little ones.

- Every day the youngest visitors  will have the opportunity to enjoy children's performances, as well as performances by children's bands, dance groups, creative workshops, readers, talk shows, art workshops, workshops of technical culture and projections of holiday cartoons, said Jelonjic.

Also, every  afternoon  at about 18 :00 hrs  humanitarian meals will be distributed,  when young people with special needs will assist,  whereby they will  get their first working experience.

In cooperation with Mostar City, we extend our activities  to Nikola Subic Zrinski Street where we will organize a festival for New Year's Eve. The entertainment will last two days, December 30 and 31, and will feature Mostar Rock School, Blues Band, Zoster, Mostar Sevdah Euron and Sinergy bands - Jelonjic said.

This year the Association "Advent"  cooperated with the National Library of the HNC, the Center for Technical Culture, the Kindergarten Mostar and the School of Fine Arts Gabrijel Jurkic, whose programs will enrich the event.

Advent event will feature numerous artists, creators and musicians who will  bring back the spirit of communion and human warmth in Mostar.

Advent event in Mostar will host  St. Nicholas, Santa Claus and  elves.  In cooperation with bicyclists from Mostar,  the traditional cycling  of Santa Clauses will take place  within the event, too.
