A Sarajevo-based company, Sarajevo Funky Tours, is taking part in this year's Reiselivsmessen Tourism Fair in Oslo, which is considered the biggest event of its kind in Norway.

“It is highly important for Bosnia and Herzegovina for our businesses to appear in these and similar fairs. Norwegians are known as passionate lovers of tourism and travel, and the beauties of BiH and what we have to offer are still unknown to the wider Norwegian public.

Especially the aspect of the prices we offer and natural beauties should be presented to Norwegians through these kinds of events.  

Together with our Norwegian friends, we have managed, in the best way possible, to use this opportunity to present the tourism offer of BiH with the desire to attract as many tourists as possible from Scandinavia,” said the BiH Ambassador to Norway Nedim Makarević.

He adds that the Sarajevo Funky Tours could further focus on school and student excursions as well as on congress tourism industry targeting Scandinavian companies that would send their people to BiH.

“With the rapid development of tourism at the beginning of the last decade, "Sarajevo Funky Tours" emerged as an idea, aimed at assisting tourists to better explore Sarajevo and BiH as a destination, and to break down prejudices linked to wartime period about our country,” said Skender Hatibović, owner and director of the company.
