The event "Days of Vienna in Sarajevo" will be held in Sarajevo from 2 to 4 July, organized by the City of Vienna and the City of Sarajevo, and the office of Eurocomm - PR Sarajevo.

The event will bring the spirit of Vienna’s summer days to Sarajevo, as well as innovative projects for which Vienna, for the ninth time in a row, has been declared the city with the highest quality of life in the world.

The City of Vienna offers its experiences and knowledge in the form of positive practices on an international scale.

That is why it is organizing this event in Sarajevo for the third time, in order to continue the constructive dialogue.

Opening of the "Days of Vienna in Sarajevo" on 2 July will bring the atmosphere of Donauinselfest, the largest open air festival in Europe with free of charge entry, This year's winner of the competition program of the festival, DJ Febration will show why he was named the best young aspiring musician in Austria.  

The main part of the event will be a two-day conference where experts from both cities will exchange experiences from innovative smart city planning projects on topics such as smart city strategies, urban mobility, water, energy, innovations and smart solutions in the work of local self-government units.

As part of the visit of the representatives of the City of Vienna in Sarajevo, the Vienna Fire Brigade will present a donation of a firefighting vehicle to the Fire Company Alipašin Most.

This comes as the continuation of more than ten years long cooperation between the Fire Brigade of the cities of Vienna and Sarajevo and the Firefighting Federation of the Sarajevo Canton, stated Eurocomm - PR Sarajevo.
