For dessert- tufahije, party, kadaif, and various cakes, modern and traditional.

Generally, Bosnian cuisine is similar to Turkish, Greek and other Mediterranean cuisine. Due to the long-standing Austro-Hungarian administration, the influence of central Europe is also felt. Bosnian cuisine uses a lot of spices, usually in small quantities. Most dishes are mild, boiled with little water. Sauces are almost completely natural. Typical ingredients of Bosnian cuisine are tomato, potatoes, onions, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, spinach, zucchini and beans. Most commonly used spices are ground pepper, pepper, parsley, bay leaf and celery. As a supplement to meals in Bosnian cuisine, milk, cabbage and cream are often used. Cinnamon and clove are added to sweet meals. Meat dishes are made from chicken, beef or lamb.

In the territory of the Republic of Srpska, it is possible to obtain more meals that contain pork, unlike the Federation of BiH, on which pork dishes are less offered.

The region of Herzegovina is suitable for growing grapes and producing wine, while in Bosnia rakija is obtained from plums and apples, but more often than pears, cherries, walnuts, .. Rakija is an alcoholic drink made of spices, spruces, roses, and domestic herbs. If you do not like alcohol, you can drink traditional coffee, with sugar shaped like cube. The specificity of the area is the so-called "beaten coffee" made from coffee bean turned into powder by physical grinding.
