The official currency in BiH is KM- convertible mark, which is the only means of payment on the territory of BiH. Other currencies are not used, they will not receive any other currency in stores.
Other currencies can be exchanged for KM in banks and exchange offices. Banks working hours are mostly untill 18 o'clock, and on Saturdays until 13 o'clock, while exchange offices are often located in the larger hotels and in some shopping centers, and their working hours coincide with the working hours of the institution in which they are located.
The KM value is related to the euro - 1 euro = 1,95 KM, and for other currencies the exchange rate list can be found at www.startbih.info.
In almost all shopping centers and in most restaurants it is possible to pay by credit card
