 It is best known for flowing through Sarajevo, but also because it is sung in the song of the most famous BH. folk vocalist Halid Bešlic. Less well known are the beauties of one of its springs - the Paljanska spring near Pale.

 

 

This hidden treasure of Miljacka is located just 22 km away from Baščaršija. You can take the car to restaurant and then take a short stroll through the woods to reach the spring. Scenes of untouched nature and greenery and the sound of springs and chirping birds will delight you. A place that really holds the great wealth of our country because of its beauty but also because of the drinking water that springs there.

 

 

Near the spring is the old tower of Pavlović. It is assumed that in the Middle Ages it served as the administrative center of the Paljan field and possibly the wider area of ​​the Pavlović family. The Pavlović  feudal estate, which belonged to the largest order of the Bosnian nobility, stretched from Vrhbosna in the west to Dobrun in the east.
