The project Resort and complex "Snježna dolina", which will be built in Jahorina according to the latest and most modern standards, modeled after resorts on the world's best ski resorts, was presented today in the Olympic Center of Jahorina.

Director and owner of Legend d.o.o. Mladen Lučić said that they decided on one of the biggest investments in Jahorina and that together with the UNIC Institute from East Sarajevo, they designed Snježna dolina according to all modern world standards.

He pointed out that the first phase is the construction of the apartment complex, and the second the hotel-apartment part of the complex.

- In the hotel-apartment part, we have provided all the accompanying facilities, such as a wellness center, a meeting room, conference rooms, children's playrooms and all the accompanying facilities - he pointed out.

What differentiates them from others, he added, is the developed infrastructure, a large number of underground and above-ground garages, as well as the environment of untouched nature, proximity to the cable car only 30 meters away, modern ski slopes made according to all European standards, systems for artificial snowmaking, lighting and all accompanying contents that will serve visitors.

- For sure, Snježna dolina will adorn the Olympic beauty Jahorina, the City of East Sarajevo and provide services to all our future users - he emphasized.

Speaking about the completion of the works, Lučić said that the first phase of seven lamellas and 210 apartments is planned to be completed by the end of 2021.

- As soon as the ski season ends, we will start construction activities, building hotels and other facilities - he said.

The President of the Supervisory Board of OC Jahorina Nedeljko Elek believes that it is the best example of good cooperation between a public company, the local community and private investors.

- It is important that the state comes to build the infrastructure, access roads, paths and artificial snow are made, and after that investors come, not by themselves, but there is a greater interest - he explained.

In addition to Snježna dolina, he added, two more resorts are being built in Jahorina, totaling 60,000 square meters, which no municipality in the country can boast of.

He emphasized that all this results in new jobs and that it is necessary to invest in staff education.

The resort territorially belongs to the municipality of Trnovo and is located in the settlement of Obućina Bare. It is located at an altitude of 1,595 meters, surrounded by dense evergreen vegetation.

It is 29 km from the center of Sarajevo, and 32 km from Sarajevo International Airport. What really complements and additionally emphasizes the attractiveness of the Snježna dolina location is the ongoing work on the installation of a new cable car.

There will be 200 parking spaces, 250 apartments and 400 rooms on 30,000 square meters.

Jahorina is the mountain with the highest tourist and investment ascent in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the most usable surface for skiing, which provides an unforgettable experience to all visitors.
