Chinese New Year was marked in Sarajevo with a concert of Beijing Dance Academy at the National Theater and fireworks in front of the theater.
Concert was organized by Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH Chen Bo, and it was attended by Deputy Mayor of Chinese city of Tianjin Zhao Haishan and representatives of political, cultural, public life of BiH and diplomatic corps.
Chinese New Year advocates philosophy of happiness, harmony and blessing with a topic of joint celebration of spring festival and building a harmonious world.
This year the Chinese New Year celebrates a year of the dog.
Traditional Chinese philosophy states that man should be in harmony with the universe and gods and that is the core of spirit of traditional Chinese culture.
