Slobodan Kadić's advices: How to finance your travels?

It's really simple - if you plan it well. But just planning can cause headaches and insomnia with the hours and hours of surfing and studying the experiences of other travelers. Each destination requires special philosophizing because living standards differ from country to country. Somewhere on the journey you have to take a little fortune and somewhere only change.

When I was in Norway's Bergen, it was normal for me to have a fairly ordinary apple in the store paying about 3 euros. The price was printed on each apple. I immediately remember Croatia where at a certain time of the year the bag of the finest apple buys for half that money ?! For a night out in the same city where polar light is headed, you probably need to get a loan from the bank, because alcohol in Scandinavia is a set of sports, just like passionate smoking. If you smoke a box a day and want to travel cheaper, bring your supplies from home, or yo will not be happy in Norway. On the other hand, in Albania or Cambodia - everything seemed free to me. Each country has a story and when the standard of living is higher, prepare yourself for spending a lot of money or give up. All costs should be calculated before and write down  the budget so that no rebalance would occur. It is not really difficult, and if you have'nt already prepared the financial plan of the road so far, this is how it works. Initially choose the destination and the time of the year you want to fly. If the season is full, the airline tickets are 50 percent more expensive, but also hotels, apartments and private accommodation and you will be better off if you take off the plane earlier. Personally, I first checked the tickets and the accommodation. If it is in line with expectations and budget, I buy the ticket. After that, I mostly reserve through booking.com because I think they are a very good company that is always on your side and cares for their costumers. I'm not saying that others are not good, but I'm talking about the one with whom I have the best experience and deserve a separate theme, just like Airbnb.

Cuba is expencive

Let's say you paid the airline in advance, and you would pay a ten-day accommodation day by day. As an example of the country I will not take the state in a setting that has a similar standard, but something more exotic - Cuba, from which I have fresh experiences, because I am there right now, and after the Cuban communist Internet check, this article goes down to Glas Slavonija in Osijek. Many forums at the Lonely Planet have concluded that Cuba is still a cheap destination, but that is less than before. In my opinion,  this is an extremely expensive country without price lists and two national currencies (CUP and CUC), which are not confusing only to tourists but also local people. Cahs is the law, you only take euros, do not pay anything in dollars. ATMs exist, but with a double commission and only work with non-American cards ?! For average accommodation and food, it takes about fifty euros a day. Include here an additional ten euros for tickets and city transport. For ten days in Cuba you need about 600 euros. Add 50 euros for taxi from the airport near Havana to the hotel, hostel or case (private accommodation) and a tourist ticket instead of the visa you buy at the border. At a sum of 650 euros, add 350 euros for the plane (if you have managed to get a good price from Italy or Budapest, because from Zagreb there are no good prices) and we have a total travel cost of around 1000 euros. Average accommodation and good price, and the more expensive ***** star hotels costs significantly more In Croatia. You need to buy travel and health insurance, and you should have black fund of at least three hundred euros or Mastercard and Visa for god forbid situations. The treatment in Havana for foreigners is extremely expensive, and regardless of whether you have a health insurance, for example, clinics are asking tourists to pay cash, and the insurance will refund them later on, probably with the accompanying multi-volume documentation.

Cheap Hungary

Never buy products at a glance, but check the prices in multiple places to keep you from scratching yourself, and to stay within the financial plan. If you just have to buy something, let it be something basic and be careful not to exaggerate (especially if you fly to Wizzair, Ryanair ...), because your airline could marry you for the euros because of the excess luggage! Please appreciate your money, as we don't appreciate the money we make in Croatia, but we overpay products and services because often we do not understand the value. For a ten-day stay in Thailand, the budget plan may be 530 euros, and in Amsterdam about 660 euros. In Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States, they are much higher because of airline tickets and accommodation rates and go over 1300 euros. And here's another banal example for our fraternal Hungary. Many love the picturesque Harkany and the surrounding vineyards. Accommodation can be found here for about 13 euros a day, and with food and pool tickets the daily budget could be about 25 euros. For a dozen days in Harkany with private accommodation for two people, there would be around 260 euros, which I consider to be extremely favorable. Do not forget that there are some Slavonian backward and prestigious starred hotels for a fee of  40 euros  per night with a museum breakfast. That's why I'm feeling sorry for the small number of tourists and travelers who come to us . That is why all over Croatia, in addition to everything, a revision of hotels and restaurants is much needed.

Take the notebook in your hand and plan your next trip. Read, explore, count and ask ... Winter is closer, Austrian winter resorts and Asian beaches are screaming!
