In European countries, such as Germany, Austria and Ireland, there are buildings built of concrete rocks or hemp insulation. In BiH,  Croatia and other countries of the region, according to the available information, there are no similar constructed objects, and only a small number of companies offers construction materials from industrial hemp. Among them is Caparol, which points out that it is the oldest cultivated plant in the world that mankind has been using for more than 10,000 years, but it has only become clear its enormous potential.

- The hemp grows extremely quickly, from 0 to 4 meters in just 100 days. It's growing faster than any weed and you do not need pesticides or artificial fertilizers. It is processed and used 97% of the plant: fiber, straw and seed. This world record does not produce any other agricultural culture. Ecologically speaking, hemp is a miracle: it binds more CO2 than forest, and the calorific value of the pellets is the same as brown coal and all without the greenhouse effect - they say, adding that because of all of its characteristics hemp  has been experiencing revival over the last few years.

- It has been used for many centuries n building  in various ways, and demand is growing and new opportunities for its application are revealed daily. Honeycomb fibers are the ideal building material thanks to its excellent properties and low moisture absorption. Reverse 10 years hemp is also used as a facade insulation because it is quickly renewable, ecologically grown, requires transportation at short distances, its processing saves energy and is characterized by the best technical properties.

Also, isolation pads have a high degree of vapor permeability and resistance to aging and damage and provide excellent sound insulation. They are also good for protection against fires since hemp as a material does not burn.
